My Personal Thoughts ::
Sheerly for it’s simplicity and pure functionality, the VSW-1 gets high marks here. All you have to do is run the output of your DVJs in, hook up fader start and run the output to your projector or house video feed and you are set to go.
For the money, the VSW-1 is a great compliment to your DVJ system. It offers SYNC connectors (the DVJs have them as well). When you have the SYNC cables hooked up, the signal does NOT flicker like it would with an inexpensive video game switcher. You can manually switch video sources or set it to AUTO which switches the video for you automatically using the fader start. Awesome.

The VSW-1 is simple in its design and extremely easy to use, ensuring that DVJs are able to mix audio/video content from separate sources without relying upon multiple independent devices or needing another artist in the DVJ booth.
This Video Switcher gives performers more freedom in the mix because they can automatically switch video sources (by pressing the red “Auto” button) when using the familiar Fader Start capability found in all of Pioneer’s Pro DJ mixers.
