This last weekend I was able to try out the new Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3s – OMG ! I was rockin a complete Pioneer rig; my Pioneer DJM-1000, our demo pair of Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3s and a Pioneer EFX-1000. It was like spinning on the death star of gear! The Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3s are truly AMAZING. Pioneer is simply put, PRO GEAR. I threw down music only with Rane Serato Scratch LIVE on friday night; saturday was 100% video using Virtual DJ. The looping with Rane Serato Scratch LIVE and VirtualDJ was just spot on – flawless. The ability to adjust the platter tension is so sweet + being able to adjust the brake and start-up speed makes this deck just golden. I did not get into the hot cues much because I was on software all weekend, but Justin and I have played with it here in the shop with CDs (both audio and mp3) and it’s just one more feature that makes this the flagship player of the pio line.
