I’ve been playing on the Mackie D.2 for a couple weeks now and I’m hella impressed. With the firewire card the possibilities are outta control. It comes with a full blown version of Tracktion2 the same software that comes with their Onyx line PA boards. If you are into multi-track recording or just into recording your mixes live to a lappy this is your new ride.

I’ve never done a multi-track mix before so I was really eager to jump on and get my hands dirty with this unit. This is what I came up with: Check it!

The software was very intuitive and easy to pick up. The mixer itself is a thing of beauty. Stay tuned for my full-blown audio podcast review coming soon!
